How to apply
Admission criteria
The Summer Program is intended for students of recognized law schools in the United States or Canada*. Full-time and part-time J.D. candidates who have completed their first year of study by May 2010 and candidates for graduate law degrees (LL.M., S.J.D.) are encouraged to apply. Student applicants must be enrolled in good standing at an accredited university or law school.
* Applications from law students who study at a university outside the United States or Canada may be considered on a case by case basis. Such applicants need to submit proof of proficiency of English, by means of a TOEFL test with a minimum score of 570 (paper-based) / 230 (computer-based) / 88-90 (Internet- based) or IELTS test (6.5). Students may also be asked to privide a writing sample. This does not apply for students who have completed their education in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.
Students will be accepted into the program in the order in which they apply.
To apply now, please fill out the application form and return it the Grotius Centre.
Cancellation
The Grotius Centre reserves the right to alter or cancel the program should circumstances warrant, including lack of sufficient registration. In case of cancellation, the Grotius Centre will refund all payments.
If students withdraw from the program after May 15th 2010, no refunds of tuition will be made.
