NFP fellowships
The 2012 Summer School on International Criminal Law is included in the Course List for the Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP). This means that the Summer School is one of the programmes for which a very limited number of NFP fellowships will be available in 2012.
The Netherlands Fellowship Programme is funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the budget for development cooperation. An NFP fellowship, which is granted for the duration of the course, is intended to contribute towards the costs of living, to cover the costs of tuition fees, and visas, travel, insurance, etc. Applicants must be nominated by their employers; applications without the support of an employer will not be considered.
Academic admission
Applicants must first gain academic admission before applying for a fellowship through the Netherlands Embassy or Consulate in their country. In all cases, applicants are advised to contact the Netherlands Embassy, consulate or NEC/NESO well in advance for specific instructions, and to inquire about specific local procedures and deadlines, requirements and selection criteria. These may differ from the general information provided on Nuffic’s website or in the brochures.
Please check te Nuffic website for further information on the NFP and the eligibility criteria, application deadlines and the application form, or contact the
Netherlands embassy and consulate, NEC/NESO offices in your home country.
